Symbolism is an important aspect of Christianity, conveying a variety of messages and traditions. Catholic vestment designs often integrate a wide variety of symbols, and this chasuble from T.H. Stemper presents several symbols in a single emblem. A cross sits in the center with pommies on each arm, and each pommy contains a traditional Christian symbol. A greek rho symbol begins at the top pommy and runs the length of the vertical arm, and is intersected by a chi at the middle of the cross. The left pommy contains a greek alpha while the right has an omega.
The chasuble is constructed from a durable and lightweight polyester, which resists wrinkling. Our chasubles are available in a variety of colors to accommodate each liturgical season. You can choose from having the emblem on the front only or on the front and back. There is also a 3 1/2 inch roll collar option for an additional fee.
