These 51% Beeswax candles from T.H. Stemper measure at 2 1/2” wide by 12” tall and have an all-purpose end (APE). The 51% composition is an affordable alternative to the 100% beeswax candles, accommodating the cost-conscious buyer. While these candles do include some paraffin, you still receive the benefit of all the positive effects of beeswax.
Beeswax does not wear or age. It does not oxidize, and mildew has no effect. You can be certain that your beeswax candle will stand the test of time. It also burns much slower than other waxes, giving each candle a much longer life than similarly sized candles made entirely of paraffin.
Our 51% beeswax candles are not dyed and do not have any added fragrance. Their stunning white color comes from a safe bleaching of the wax. You may notice a white foam coat develop on your candle. This occurs when soft oils rise to the surface and is called bloom. To remove the candle bloom, rub the bloom with a soft cloth or warm with a hair dryer. However, bloom has no effect on the burn of your beeswax candle.
